Women’s Soccer’s Rose, Bebar, Caloia Garner All-Region Honors

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University women's soccer first-years Jade Rose and Hannah Bebar have earned First Team All-East Region honors, and junior Angela Caloia has gained Second Team All-East Region accolades, the United Soccer Coaches has announced.
 
All three student-athletes garnered all-region honors for the first time after the trio all earned First Team All-Ivy laurels this fall. Rose and Bebar stood as the only two first-years as First Team All-East Region.
 
A native of Markham, Ontario, Rose anchored the team's back line as a rookie playing at center back, gaining First Team All-Ivy. She ranked second on the team in minutes played (1,309) and helped the Crimson post six clean sheets on the year. In Ivy play, she helped the team post three shutouts and a 0.57 goals-against average. She notched a pair of goals on the year, including the game winner at Northeastern.
 
The 2021 Ivy League Rookie of the Year and a unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection, Bebar ranked sixth nationally in assists per game (0.67) and 26th in shots on goal per game (2.07). She paced the Ivy League in assists (10) and shots on goal per game (2.07). Bebar ranked second on the team and seventh in the Ivy League in points (20) behind five goals and 10 assists. In Ivy play only, she ranked first in shots on goal per game (2.29) and second in points (12) and assists (four).
 
A First Team All-Ivy selection in 2021 and a Second Team All-Ivy pick in 2019, Caloia ranked second in the Ancient Eight in goals (10), third in game-winning goals (four), and third in points (22). A native of Washington, D.C., she ranked 35th nationally in goals per game (0.67). For her career, she has totaled 45 points on 16 goals and 13 assists in 32 games. Caloia also earned First Team CoSIDA Academic All-District plaudits this fall.
 
In 2021, Harvard earned an at-large berth in the NCAA Championship, making its 17th all-time NCAA appearance. Harvard posted a 12-3-1 overall record in 2021. In the final RPI used for NCAA selections, the Crimson ranked No. 12 in the nation.
