What to Know
- In its last outing, Harvard topped Dartmouth, 1-0, at Jordan Field on Oct. 30. Junior Martin Vician scored the game-winning goal in the first minute off an assist from sophomore Willem Ebbinge while junior goalkeeper Oskar Nilsson made five saves in the shutout.
- As a team in the NCAA national statistical rankings, the Crimson stands fourth in saves per game (5.57), 28th in save percentage (.780), 24th in shots on goal per game (6.71), 29th in shots per game (14.86), and 31st in assists per game (2.07).
- Individually in the NCAA rankings, sophomore Willem Ebbinge ranks fourth in assists per game (0.69), junior goalie Oskar Nilsson sits eighth in saves per game (5.36), and first-year Alessandro Arlotti stands 12th in game-winning goals (four).
- In the Ivy League rankings, the Crimson stands second in points per game (5.50) and assists per game (2.29), while sitting third in goals per game (1.71).
- The Crimson features four student-athletes with 10 or more points for the first time since 2006 when six players accomplished the feat. First-year Alessandro Arlotti (19 points), junior Martin Vician (12), senior Cornelius Bencsik (11), and sophomore Willem Ebbinge (11) have all tallied double-figure points on the year.
- First-year Alessandro Arlotti leads the Ivy League in game-winning goals (four) and ranks fourth in points (19) on seven goals and five assists. He has posted points in five of his last six contests.
- Junior Martin Vician stands second on the team with 12 points on five goals and two assists. In Ivy play, he leads the club with eight points on three goals and two assists.
- Sophomore Willem Ebbinge paces the Ancient Eight in assists (nine). He has registered five assists in his last four games and posted four assists in Ivy play.
- Junior goalkeeper Oskar Nilsson leads the Ivy League in saves per game (5.36) and has notched two shutouts this season.

The 2021 campaign marks
Josh Shapiro's second season and first on the field as The Virginia B. and James O. Welch, Jr. '52 Head Coach for Harvard Men's Soccer. Prior to joining Harvard in January 2020, Shapiro led the Tufts men's soccer program for 10 years, winning four NCAA Division III National Championships in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019.
