CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior forward
Martin Vician has earned Ivy League Player of the Week accolades after totaling three points on one goal and one assist in Harvard University men's soccer's 3-2 win at Columbia University on Saturday, the Ivy League conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
A native of Bratislava, Slovakia, Vician notched his sixth goal and third assist of the season and now has 15 points on the year. In Ivy play, he now has four goals and 11 points on the season. Vician has recorded points in five of his last seven games and registered three or more points in a game for the second time this year.
The win helped Harvard secure a record above .500 overall for the first time since 2016.
