Men’s Swimming and Diving Announces 2021-22 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's swimming and diving will compete in its annual Ivy League dual season and race at Stanford and the Minnesota Invitational as it prepares for the Ivy League and NCAA Championships as part of its 2021-22 schedule, Kevin Tyrrell, The Ulen-Brooks Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Swimming & Diving, announced on Thursday.
 
Following a home scrimmage against MIT on Oct. 23, Harvard opens its schedule with an Ivy League tri-meet at Cornell with Dartmouth from Nov. 12-13. Diving events will take place on No. 12 prior to swimming events on Nov. 13. The meet will mark the Crimson's first competition since Feb. 29, 2020 – a span of 622 days.
 
Harvard then hosts Columbia at Blodgett Pool on Nov. 19, marking the program's first home meet since Feb. 29, 2020 – a span of 629 days. The Crimson finishes the calendar year at the Minnesota Invitational from Dec. 1-4.
 
Beginning the 2022 calendar year, Harvard competes at Stanford with diving events taking place on Jan. 12 and swimming events occurring on Jan. 14. The Crimson then hosts back-to-back Ivy meets at Blodgett Pool, welcoming Brown (Jan. 18) and Penn (Jan. 22) to Cambridge.
 
Harvard caps its dual season at the annual H-Y-P meet with Yale hosting the Crimson and Princeton from Jan. 29-30.
 
The 2022 Ivy League Championships are slated for Princeton from Feb. 23-26 as Harvard will seek its 28th Ivy League title and fifth straight.
 
At the national postseason level, the NCAA Zone Diving Championships are set for Mar. 7-9 prior to the NCAA Championships from Mar. 23-26 in Atlanta, Ga.
