PRINCETON, N.J. – In its biggest test of the young season, No. 1 Harvard (5-0, 4-0 Ivy) came away with a 5-4 victory on the road against No. 3 Princeton (5-1, 1-1 Ivy) on Sunday at Jadwin Gymnasium.
With Harvard leading 4-3, first-year
Habiba Eldafrawy sealed the victory with a dramatic five-set victory in the fourth singles position, coming from behind to top Princeton's Caroline Spahr and give Harvard the match's clinching fifth point.
Princeton's Molly Chadwick would go on to eke out a 3-2 victory over
Brecon Welch in the only remaining match, bringing the day's final tally to 5-4.
It was a strong display from the top of the Crimson's lineup as the top five singles were all victorious.

- This was the first meeting between Harvard and Princeton since the 2020 Women's Team Championship Finals which Harvard won, 6-1.
