CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Radcliffe women's heavyweight rowing team had a great showing at the Head of The Charles Regatta for its first appearance of the season this past weekend. The team raced five boats over the two days and had one boat take home a silver medal. 

HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS

• In the first race on Saturday, Radcliffe came in fourth place in the Club Four with a time of 18:31.
  • Club 4+ (C- Sophie Haugen S- Piper Cyterski 3- Alexandria Lange 2- Nalani Dziama B – Leah Bailey)
• In the Club 8, Radcliffe came in second place, securing a silver medal after crossing the finish line in 16:30. The Black and White finished ahead of third-place Yale with time of 16:32.
  • Club 8 (C- Alex Cherf S- Alexia Faydherbe de Maudave 7- Alex Smits 6- Morgan Blind 5- Bridget Galloway 4- Meredith Kent 3- Jenna Kempster-Taylor 2- Heidi Jacobson B- Sarah Averill
• Radcliffe finished Saturday with the Championship Double, where the boat came in 12^th with time of 19:59.
  • Championship 2x (S – Francesca Gardella B- Aidan Wrenn-Walz
• On Sunday, the Black and White opened with the Championship Four , finishing in 13^th place with time of 18:43.

  • Championship 4+ (C-Chrissy Cadigan S- Ella Brown 3- Casey Batson 2- Jania Tumey B- Cate MacDonald)

• In its final race of the regatta, Radcliffe turned in a 10^th-place effort with time of 15:39 in the Championship Eight.
