CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's soccer (7-0-2, 1-0-1 Ivy) will continue its homestand on Tuesday when the team wraps up nonconference play against the Boston University Terriers (6-6, 3-1 Patriot) at Jordan Field.
This game will also serve as the second annual Harvard women's soccer pride game, that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community.
WHAT TO KNOW
- Harvard is coming off a 6-0 win over Yale this past Saturday
- 10 different student-athletes recorded points while six different players scored goals
- Hannah Bebar, Hollyn Torres and Josefine Hasbo each had a goal and an assist in the win
- Bebar currently leads the team and is second in the Ivy League with 16 points
- The sophomore also ranks 11th in the nation with .67 assists per game
- Harvard women's soccer is one of only seven remaining unbeaten teams in the country
- The Crimson is outshooting opponents 171-58 after not allowing a shot attempt to the Bulldogs
- The team is averaging three goals per game is outscoring opponents 27-6
- Harvard's 3.0 gpg is good for seventh in the nation
- The Crimson offense has had no problem getting attempts on net, ranking 13th in the country with 9.22 shots on goal per game
- Harvard ranks at the top of the Ivy League in goals (27), fewest goal allowed (6), margin (+21) and save percentage (.793)
- The Crimson leads the all-time series against the Terriers, 15-8-6 and have come away with wins in the past two contests
- BU has not scored a goal against the Crimson since 2018
