Seven From Women’s Soccer Earn All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard women's soccer was well represented in the Ivy League's yearly awards, netting seven All-Ivy League honors after the 2025 season. Anna Rayhill's first team selection paced the group while five of her teammates landed on the second team and one student-athlete earned Honorable Mention honors. The most awards for the Crimson since the 2016 season comes after Harvard posted a 3-3-1 record in conference play during the 2025 campaign.

Írena Héðinsdóttir Gonzalez, August Hunter, Ólöf Kristinsdóttir, Elsa Santos López and Rhiannon Stewart landed on the second team while Jasmine Leshnick collected an Honorable Mention selection. Stewart was also named to the Academic All-Ivy team to round out her Harvard career.

First Team All-Ivy League

Anna Rayhil – Jr. – Forward

A junior forward who also split time in the midfield, Rayhill led the Crimson as a captain in 2025. The New York native tied for the team lead with four goals and also notched an assist on the year to finish with nine points. Three of Rayhill's goals were scored in back-to-back-to-back games during conference play which was the longest goal-scoring streak of her career and the longest for the Crimson this season. This was the first career All-Ivy award for Rayhill.

Second Team All-Ivy League

Írena Héðinsdóttir Gonzalez – Jr. – Midfielder

A stout presence in the defensive midfield, Héðinsdóttir Gonzalez started all but one game for Harvard in 2025. The junior made contributions all over the pitch including in the attacking third where she notched a goal and an assist. In the defensive third, the Iceland native helped smother opposing attackers with her strong on-ball defending. The second team nod is Héðinsdóttir Gonzalez's first career All-Ivy honor.

August Hunter – Sr. – Defender

A senior center back, August Hunter secured her first career All-Ivy League honor after playing every minute of every game as the anchor of the Harvard defense. One of only two Ivy League field players to log 100-percent of minutes played in 2025, Hunter was the sweeper for a Harvard defense that allowed just 18 goals in 14 games and only eight in league play.

Ólöf Kristinsdóttir – Jr. – Forward

Her second career Second Team selection, Kristinsdóttir scored three goals and notched one assist in 2025 to contribute to the Harvard attack. Her best performance of the season came in the 2-0 shutout of Princeton (Sep. 27) where she scored both Crimson goals to lead the team to the win. The effort notched her Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Elsa Santos López – Fy – Midfielder

One of the top rookies in the Ivy League this season, Elsa Santos López was a great addition to the 2025 Crimson women's soccer team. The first-year posted eight points – good for third on the team – and started 13 games for Harvard. The Spanish midfielder led all Ivy League rookies in goal contributions and finished second overall in points after scoring two goals and tallying four assists.

Rhiannon Stewart – Sr. – Goalkeeper

The senior shot stopper for Harvard, Rhiannon Stewart landed on the Second Team for the second season in a row after posting 49 saves and a .731 save percentage in her senior campaign. The England native played every minute of every game between the posts to anchor a Harvard defense that allowed just 18 goals on the year.

Honorable Mention All-Ivy League

Jasmine Leshnick – Jr. – Defender

A human highlight reel, Jasmine Leshnick earned her first career All-Ivy league honor after leading the Crimson with 10 points and four goals during the 2025 season. A junior defender, Leshnick started all 14 games for Harvard and played all but 49 minutes during the season. Along with her strong play on the back line, Leshnick starred in the attacking third, scoring a pair of highlight reel goals against Cornell and Brown to help the Crimson offense.
