CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's swimming and diving opens its 2022-23 campaign on Friday when it faces Dartmouth and Cornell in Hanover, New Hampshire. The Ivy League double dual meet is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET start.

- The five-time defending Ivy League champions begin their title defense on Friday. A season ago, Harvard finished at No. 19 in the CSCAA Division I Top 25 and 13th at the NCAA Championships. The Crimson is receiving votes, effectively No. 29 nationally (6 points), in the latest 2022-23 top-25 poll.
- Kevin Tyrrell, The Ulen-Brooks Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Swimming & Diving, is beginning his 10th year at the helm. He has led the Crimson to a 69-7 dual-meet record, while going 53-1 vs. Ivy competition during his time in Cambridge.
- Harvard leads the all-time series with Dartmouth, 78-11, and enters this week's action having won 49 consecutive meetings. The Crimson's last defeat to the Big Green occurred on Jan. 8, 1972.
- The Crimson is 57-2 all-time vs. Cornell. Harvard has won 14 straight meets vs. the Big Red since its last series loss in November of 2005.
