Women’s Basketball Treks to Columbia and Cornell This Weekend

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Hitting the road for the first time in the month of February, the Harvard women's basketball team will travel to Columbia and Cornell this weekend, Feb. 18-19. The Crimson will face the Lions on Friday, Feb. 18, before taking on the Big Red on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. Both contests will be broadcast on ESPN+.

What to Know
- Harvard sits tied for third in the Ivy League standings with a 6-4 conference mark and 12-10 overall record. The Crimson saw its five-game winning streak snapped by Penn last weekend, battling the Quakers to force overtime after a late fourth quarter rally. The Quakers topped Harvard, 87-78.
- Junior McKenzie Forbes registered a career-high 30 points against Penn at Lavietes Pavilion last Saturday. Forbes is the first Crimson player to record 30 or more points since Temi Fagbenle put up 31 points against Columbia in 2014.
- Harmoni Turner tallied 23 points against the Quakers last weekend, marking the first-year's sixth game this season notching 20 or more points. The Mansfield, Texas native has recorded double-digit points in all but four games this year.
- Harvard aims to take a season series sweep over Cornell, previously besting the Big Red, 89-47, at home in January. The Crimson leads the all-time series, 73-12, and holds a 9-1 advantage in its last 10 matchups with the Big Red. Prior to 2016, Harvard claimed 15-straight wins against Cornell.

- Harvard ranks 10th in the nation in three-point field goals made per game with 9.3 and places 18th with 205 total. The Crimson ranks second in the Ivy League in three-point percentage with .335. Tallying double-digit triples in 11 games, Harvard registered a season-high 17 against Merrimack in November.
