CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's ice hockey (13-8-3) plays its final regular season home games this weekend when it hosts Princeton (8-14-2, 7-9-1 ECAC Hockey) and No. 4/4 Quinnipiac (25-3-3, 14-2-1 ECAC Hockey) at Bright Landry Hockey Center. Harvard is 4-1-2 in its last seven contests, and 3-0-1 in its last four against ECAC Hockey competition.

What to Know
• Harvard has scored first in 14 of 24 contests this year (10-3-1 in those games) and is outscoring teams 29-16 in the first period of games this season. Harvard has outscored teams 10-0 in the third period of the last seven contests. Harvard has also outshot teams in 20 of 24 games played this season, with an 11-6-3 mark when it outshoots an opponent.
• On Monday night (Feb. 14), down by two goals heading into the third period, Harvard rallied for a 3-3 tie against Boston College in the 2022 Beanpot consolation game at TD Garden. First-year forward

• Harvard and Princeton will meet for the first time this season on Friday night. The Tigers are near the bottom of the NCAA in scoring defense (4.04 goals allowed per game, 57th, NCAA). Senior forward Corey Andonovski and sophomore forward Ian Murphy lead the team in scoring with 19 points each. Andonovski has a team high five power play goals. The Tigers have been playing good hockey of late, with a 5-4-1 record in their last 10 games.
• Quinnipiac has been one of the top teams in the nation all season long, buoyed by the nation's No. 1 scoring defense (1.03 goals allowed per game). Goaltender Yaniv Perets has the top goals against average (0.84), and save percentage (.952) in the nation). Senior forward Wyatt Bongiovanni (14-15-29) and senior defensemen Zach Metsa (7-22-29) have been fantastic for the Bobcats.
• Harvard will honor six seniors on Senior Day on Saturday, including R.J. Murphy,
Jack Donato,
Jackson Hartje,
Derek Schaedig, Marshall RIfai, and captain
Casey Dornbach. The Harvard Hockey class of 2022 has combined for 46 wins, and an NCAA Tournament appearance (2018-19).
At the Helm
Following success as a player, Harvard head coach Ted Donato has compiled a long list of accomplishments as head coach of the Crimson. The former Harvard captain has guided Harvard to four ECAC Hockey titles and three Ivy League championships, claimed six NCAA Tournament berths, coached 13 All-Americans and 17 National Hockey Leaguers. Donato, who won an NCAA Championship as a Harvard player in 1989 and enjoyed a 13-year NHL career, has represented Team USA at the World Junior Championships, multiple World Championships, and was the leading scorer of the 1992 Olympic Team in Albertville, France.
