CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore goalie
Chloe Provenzano was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today (Feb. 28).
Provenzano stopped 10 shots in Harvard's 13-7 win over Holy Cross last Tuesday to help the Crimson earn their first win of the 2022 season.
A native of Parkland, Fla., Provenzano recorded her second straight double-digit save performance after making 14 saves against Colorado in Harvard's season opener on Feb. 20
Provenzano is currently 12th in the nation and second among Ivy League goalkeepers with a save percentage of .558.
Harvard will open Ivy League play next Saturday (March 5) at Penn with a 12 p.m. contests on ESPN+.
