OTTAWA, Ont. – First-year
Annabel Child was selected as one of 20 women to represent Canada at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Cup in Towson, Md.
The World Cup, postponed from 2021, will take place from June 29-July 9, 2022 and will feature 30 teams.
Child is no stranger to Team Canada, earning a spot on the Super Six squad at the World Lacrosse Six on Six event this past fall, and participating with the national team at the USA Lacrosse Fall Classic.
Child and the Crimson will open the season in just over two weeks, when it hosts Colorado at Jordan Field on Feb 20 at 12 p.m. (ESPN+).
