PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Facing the No. 1 ranked team in the NAIA, Harvard was upended by Keiser on Thursday, 3-2, in a match-play style event held at Sandhill Crane Golf Club.
Nine head-to-head matches were played on the day, with the top-five being used to tally the official team score.
In the counting matches, junior
Brian Isztwan picked up a full point for the Crimson with a 2&1 win over Jakob Stubhaug, while sophomores
Kevin Sze and
Adam Xiao each tied their respective opponents.
In the extra contests, first-year Diego Saavedra Davila was a winner for Harvard, posting a 3&2 victory against the Seahawks' Nicolas Llanos.
The dual match marked Harvard's second such competition of the spring. The Crimson faced Charleston Southern in an identically formatted event back in February.
