CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Earning a berth to the Ivy League Tournament for the fourth time, the Harvard women's basketball team will begin postseason action this weekend. Entering the tournament at the four-seed, the Crimson will take on first-seeded Princeton on home court at Lavietes Pavilion this Friday, March 11. Tip-off is slated for 4:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+. The winner will advance to take on either Columbia or Yale in the championship game on Saturday, March 12 at 5 p.m. on ESPNews.

- Heading into postseason play, the Crimson secured the fourth seed in the Ivy League Tournament after accumulating a 7-7 Ivy League record and 13-13 overall mark.
- Harvard has qualified for four out of five Ivy League Tournaments since its inception. Making its 16th postseason appearance this year, the Crimson has advanced to the WNIT eight times in program history, the most among Ivy League schools.

- Harvard has been hot from the floor this season, putting up 70 or more points in 16 games. Posting seven games with 80+ points, the Crimson ranks first in the Ivy League in scoring with 71.1 points per game and third in field goals with a .392 percentage.
- The Crimson currently boasts a 7-3 home record within the friendly confines of Lavietes Pavilion. Dominating on its own hardwood, Harvard has surpassed 70 points in six out of seven of its home court victories this season.
- Harvard ranks 11th in the nation in three-point field goals made per game with 9.1 and places 31st with 236 total. The Crimson ranks second in the Ivy League in three-point percentage with .326. Tallying double-digit triples in 12 games, Harvard registered a season-high 17 against Merrimack in November.

Kathy Delaney-Smith returns for her 40th season at the helm of the program. The winningest coach in Ivy League basketball history with 642 career victories, Delaney-Smith passed former Princeton head coach Pete Carril (514) for most wins by an Ancient Eight coach on either the men's or women's side during the 2013-14 season. Delaney-Smith owns a 642-453 overall record with a 373-169 mark in Ivy League play, including 12 20-win seasons, 11 Ivy titles and 16 postseason appearances.
