What to Know: Team Notes
- Harvard (11-8, 3-0 Ivy) opens a seven-game homestand when it hosts Brown (4-12, 1-2 Ivy) on Saturday. The Crimson will compete at O'Donnell Field for the first time since meeting Columbia in the Ivy League Championship Series on May 19, 2019 – a span of 1,049 days.
- The Crimson will host a regular season Ivy League game for the first time since playing Columbia on April 28, 2019 – a span of 1,070 days.
- The Crimson is set to throw junior LHP Tim Williamson (2-1, 5.18 ERA) in Saturday's game one, junior RHP Adam Stone (1-2, 3.95 ERA) in Saturday's game two, and senior RHP Jaren Zinn (2-1, 7.32 ERA) on Sunday. Brown is set to start RHP Bobby Olsen (0-1, 3.10 ERA) in Saturday's game one, RHP Tobey McDonough (2-1, 2.10 ERA) in Saturday's game two, and LHP Zach Fogell (0-4, 9.00 ERA) on Sunday.
- In the week two NEIBA Division I Coaches Poll from Mar. 29, Harvard moved up to No. 2 after ranking at No. 3 in the week one poll. Connecticut tops the poll for the second straight week.
- Harvard leads Brown in the all-time series, 196-123-1. In 2019, the Crimson took two of three games from the Bears with Harvard's game three win securing an outright Ivy League title for the Crimson. The two teams first met in 1868.
- In its first Ivy League series in over 1,000 days, Harvard swept a three-game set from Cornell. The Crimson took game one, 7-5, captured game two, 11-5, and rallied to win game three, 12-11. Harvard totaled 32 hits and 20 walks across the series, posting a .414 on-base percentage and .296 batting average.
- In a three-game series at UCLA (Mar. 18-20), Harvard captured the second game in a 5-0 shutout and nearly took game three before falling in 11 innings, 2-3. In the game two win, Harvard's pitching staff held the Bruins to one hit. Earlier in the week on Mar. 15, the Crimson topped Fresno State, 8-2.
- Harvard has tallied a pair of wins over teams from Power Five conferences this season. The Crimson opened the year with an 11-6 win over the ACC's Miami in its first game in 719 days. Harvard also earned a 5-0 shutout win over UCLA of the Pac-12.
- Over the team's eight-game, 10-day road trip to the state of California, junior Logan Bravo hit .455 (15-for-33) with five doubles, five RBIs, five runs, and a homer. Sophomore Chris Snopek hit .382, sophomore Jay Driver threw 6.1 innings of scoreless relief, and sophomore Uday Narottam tossed 5.2 innings of scoreless relief.
What to Know: Batting Notes
- Sophomore Chris Snopek leads the Crimson in batting average (.380), on-base percentage (.470), hits (27), and RBIs (12). Snopek ranks fifth in the Ivy League in both OBP and batting average. He paces the team with 10 multi-hit games on the year.
- In his first Ivy series, Snopek posted a .455 average and .626 OBP vs. Cornell. Snopek hit .438 (7-for-16) in the Cal Poly series and earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors. He hit .500 with three RBIs, three runs, and a double in the Rice series. He totaled three hits, three runs scored, two RBIs, and his first career home run against Miami.
- Junior Logan Bravo has posted a .355 batting average and .403 on-base percentage on the season, while leading the team in doubles (seven) and slugging percentage (.516). Bravo ranks third in the Ivy League in doubles. He has tallied nine multi-hit games on the year and is on an eight-game hit streak. In the UCLA series, he hit .500 (7-for-14) with a home run, two doubles, an RBI, and three runs scored. Bravo hit .400 (6-for-15) in the Cal Poly series, including three doubles. He went 5-for-13 (.385) with two doubles and four runs scored in the Rice series.
- Sophomore Jake Berger has reached base safely in 14 straight games. He has registered a .395 on-base percentage alongside 12 runs scored, five doubles, and 11 RBIs.
- First-year George Cooper leads the team in home runs (three) and runs scored (14) on the year alongside 21 hits, six doubles, and eight RBIs. He hit his first two collegiate home runs in the Rice series, launching lead-off home runs in both game three and game four.
- Sophomore Ben Rounds has posted a .292 batting average with 14 hits, 11 RBIs, 11 runs, five doubles, and a .433 on-base percentage. In the last two games of the Cornell series, he went 4-for-9 with five RBIs. He has reached base safely in 10 straight games.
- First-year Peter Levin broke out in the Cornell series, hitting .462 (6-for-13) with six RBIs, two doubles, a run scored, and a .615 slugging percentage. He tallied three RBIs in game one, two RBIs in game two, and went 3-for-5 in game three.
What to Know: Pitching Notes
- Sophomore right-handed reliever Jay Driver has thrown 12.0 innings of relief this season without allowing a run, posting three saves, 20 strikeouts to three walks, and a 0.58 WHIP. He earned saves at Rice (Mar. 4), at Cal Poly (Mar. 12), and in game two at Cornell (Mar. 25). He ranks second in the Ivy League in saves (three).
- Junior left-handed pitcher Tim Williamson has notched a 5.18 ERA, 21 strikeouts, and a .207 opponent batting average over 24.1 innings on the season. He ranks third in the Ivy League in opponent batting average. Williamson earned Ivy League Pitcher of the Week honors after throwing 6.0 shutout innings with six strikeouts in a victory over UCLA (Mar. 19). He also earned a win at Rice (Mar. 5), tossing 6.0 innings and permitting one run on three hits with seven strikeouts.
- Junior right-handed pitcher Adam Stone has posted a 3.95 ERA with 16 strikeouts over 13.2 innings, while holding opponents to a .220 batting average. Against Rice (Mar. 4), he threw 5.0 shutout innings, striking out eight. He made his collegiate debut against Miami (Feb. 25), striking out four batters over 4.0 innings.
- Senior right-handed pitcher Jaren Zinn earned the win in game three against Cal Poly Mar. 12) behind a career-high 11 strikeouts. Zinn threw 6.0 innings and allowed just one run on four hits and two walks. He gained Ivy League Pitcher of the Week honors for the effort. For the season, Zinn leads the team and ranks fifth in the Ivy League with 31 strikeouts over 19.2 innings.
- Sophomore left-hander Uday Narottam has tossed 12.1 innings of relief this year, allowing just two earned runs for a 1.46 ERA. He earned a save against Cal Poly (Mar. 13), throwing 3.2 innings without allowing a hit.
- First-year right-handed pitcher Sean Matson has thrown 18.2 innings this season, making appearances as a reliever and starter. He has 25 strikeouts and a 4.34 ERA. He notched a career-high nine strikeouts at Cornell (Mar. 25). Matson earned his first career win at Cal Poly (Mar. 13), pitching 5.1 innings with five strikeouts. He threw 4.0 innings of relief against Miami (Feb. 26), permitting just one run on two hits with six strikeouts.
- Sophomore right-hander Chris Clark has not allowed a run in six of his seven relief appearances this season. He has posted a 1.54 ERA on the year, permitting just two earned runs over 11.2 innings. Clark earned the win at Cornell (Mar. 25), hurling 4.2 scoreless innings with a career-high seven strikeouts.

Bill Decker, The Joseph J. O'Donnell '67 Head Coach for Harvard Baseball, enters his 10
th season as the leader of the Crimson. The 2019 Ivy League Coach of the Year and 2019 NEIBA Coach of the Year led the Crimson to the 2019 Ivy League title. He holds a 136-179 record at Harvard and a 633-436 career record as a collegiate head coach.
