CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Adding to an already exceptional collegiate career, Harvard's
Victor Crouin was named the winner of the 2022 Skillman Award at the CSA's Virtual Awards Show, The Senior Serve, on Tuesday evening.
The Skillman Award is the top honor in men's college squash and is given each year to a senior who has displayed outstanding sportsmanship and skill throughout their collegiate careers. Nominees are evaluated on skill level and ability in the game of squash, team play, contributions to intercollegiate squash, leadership, on-court poise and cooperation with players, coaches and tournament officials.
Crouin was selected from a group of finalists which also included Aly Abou Eleinen of Penn and Youssef Ibrahim of Princeton.
The Frenchmen becomes the fifth student-athlete from Harvard to earn the Skillman Award, joining Tim Wyant '00, Andrew Merrill '01, Colin West '10 and Ali Farag '14.
The senior has enjoyed considerable success in Cambrdige, totaling a 35-4 record while winning three National Championships with the team along with two individual national titles. Crouin is a two-time First-Team All-American honoree and was dubbed Ivy League Player of the Year on two occasions.

Mike Way, the Gregory Lee '87 and Russell Ball '88 Endowed Coach for Squash at Harvard University, said. "From a coach's perspective he's an absolute standout when we think about character and how he affected the culture of the whole program."
