Henry von der Schulenburg Selected for NCAA Men’s Tennis Singles Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After an impressive regular season on the court, sophomore Henry von der Schulenburg received an at-large bid to participate in the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championships.
 
Von der Schulenburg is one of 64 singles players to make the tournament. Singles competition will be conducted May 23-28 at the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex in Champaign, Ill. after the conclusion of the team championship.
 
The sophomore out of Zurich, Switzerland completed the dual season with a 11-5 record at the No. 1 position. In Ivy League competition, von der Schulenburg sported a 4-1 record to help the Crimson to the Ivy League championship title. Dominating all year, von der Schulenburg boasts a 24-8 record in overall singles play and received his highest ranking of No. 17 in the nation earlier this season.
 
Von der Schulenburg is the first Crimson player to earn a spot since 2015 when 34th-nationally ranked senior Denis Nguyen received a bid and made it to the second round.
