CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's lacrosse (7-7, 4-3 Ivy) heads to No. 9 Princeton (12-3, 7-0 Ivy) for a 2022 Ivy League Tournament semifinal contest on Friday night at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. Harvard is making its first appearance in the Ivy League Tournament since the 2017 season and its seventh appearance in program history.
Harvard clinched a bid into postseason play in thrilling fashion, defeating Brown, 15-14 on Senior Day last Saturday at Jordan Field.

Grace Hulslander recorded a career high seven points (five goals, two assists), and sophomore
Callie Hem added four goals and an assist to lead the Crimson attack. Harvard made a game-sealing stop in the final seconds to clinch the win, led in part by the defense of first-year
Grace Taylor.
Harvard is seeking its first win over Princeton since the 2012 season. On April 23 earlier this year at Jordan Field, Harvard took an 8-7 lead into the fourth quarter against Princeton, but a late rally by the Tigers helped them earn a 14-9 victory. Hulslander and sophomore
Maddie Barkate scored three goals in that contest.

- Hem leads the team in overall scoring and goal scoring with 43 points (33 goals, 10 assists) in her first season of collegiate lacrosse. She had multiple goals in 11 of Harvard's 14 games and scored a career high six goals at Yale on April 9.
- Jenkins leads the team with 31 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers and was a force in the defensive end. She added 26 draw controls and was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week on March 7 after Harvard's 9-8 win at Penn.
- Hulslander was one of the team's top two-way players recording 25 points (19 goals, six assists), adding a team high 49 draw controls, and notching 21 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. a career high seven points (five goals, two assists) in Harvard's 15-14 win over Brown last Saturday.
- Barkate was excellent in her first full season of college lacrosse, finishing second on the team with 21 goals, adding four assists, eight ground balls and 15 draw controls. Hong emerged as a regular starter this season, and was a key part of Harvard's efforts on clears, recording 23 ground balls and six caused turnovers and five draw controls. Taylor had an impactful first year with the Crimson on the defensive end, recording 25 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers, including a key defensive play at the end of Harvard's win over Brown to allow the Crimson to emerge with a 15-14 victory over the Bears.

Annabel Child was selected as one of 20 women to represent Canada at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women's World Cup in Towson, Md. The World Cup, postponed from 2021, will take place from June 29-July 9, 2022 and will feature 30 teams. Child is no stranger to Team Canada, earning a spot on the Super Six squad at the World Lacrosse Six on Six event this past fall, and participating with the national team at the USA Lacrosse Fall Classic.

Devon Wills, The Carole Kleinfelder Head Coach for Harvard Women's Lacrosse, returns for her third season at Harvard. Wills arrived in Cambridge after a six-year coaching stint at USC, serving as associate head coach in her last three seasons, where she worked specifically with the Trojan defense and goaltenders. Under Wills' guidance the Crimson defense improved from allowing 12.06 goals per game in 2019 to 9 goals per game in 2020. Harvard also averaged 9.83 caused turnovers per game in 2020, up from 7.86 caused turnovers per contest in 2019. Wills was a three-time All-American goalie at Dartmouth, leading the NCAA in goals-against average and helped the Big Green advance to the NCAA championship game in 2006.
