Women's Golf Named One of Top Academic Squads By WGCA; Five Recognized as All-American Scholars

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's golf was recognized as one of the top academic squads in the nation, ranking 23rd among Division I programs (tops among Ivy schools) with a 3.783 team GPA, the Women's College Golf Association (WGCA) announced last week.
 
In addition, five student-athletes were named WGCA All-American Scholars for having an individual cumulative GPA over 3.5, including Isabella Gomez, Yoona Kim, Anina Ku, Chloe Royston, and Meiyi Yan.
 
This past season, the Harvard women's team posted a 302.67 scoring average while collecting second place finishes at both the UD Lady Blue Hen Invitational and Hoya Invitational. Harvard concluded the campaign by finishing third at the Ivy Championships. 
 
Ku, Royston, and Yan were each recognized as All-Ivy honorees following their top-10 finishes at the Ivy tournament.  
 
Ku was named to the first team while Royston and Yan were each selected to the second team.
