BALTIMORE, Md. – Harvard men's lacrosse landed in the top 15 of the Inside Lacrosse preseason media poll this morning, receiving 168 votes and finishing No. 13 overall. The No. 13 placement is the highest since the 2015 season in which the Crimson began its campaign slotted at No. 12.

Harvard will compete against nine teams ranked in the preseason poll including No. 1 Virginia, No. 4 Cornell and No. 6 Princeton. The Crimson also notched four wins against teams ranked in the poll during the 2022 season.

The Frisbie Family Head Coach for Harvard men's lacrosse, Gerry Byrne, and his group already received some preseason accolades, landing at No. 15 on the USA Lacrosse Magazine poll and having two players – Greg Campisi and Chase Yager – named Honorable Mention Preseason All-America.

The Crimson begin official practice this afternoon which starts the official preparation for the 2023 season opener on February 18 at No. 1/1 University of Virginia.
