CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's lacrosse team will wrap up its Fall Experience this weekend with the playing of the fourth annual BBQ Bowl Scrimmage. The event that is set for 5:30 PM on Friday, Nov. 14 will be played at Jordan Field and will feature a "sixes" style tournament between the Harvard players. The team will be divided into groups that sill compete in a round-robin tournament for the final competition date of the Fall season.
Sixes is a condensed version of the sport of lacrosse - which has been adopted by the Olympic Games and set to make its debut in the event during the LA 2028 event - played on a smaller field with fewer players (6 v 6), a shorter game length (four 8-minute quarters) and a 30-second shot clock. The format is high-pace, energetic and full of non-stop, high-scoring action.
Harvard men's lacrosse will break off into three teams for the event, with each team taking on a different type of BBQ for its name. The rosters for the event can be found below.

This will be the Crimson's final competition for the Fall season that has seen the team compete in several high-level exhibitions and scrimmages. The Crimson began the Fall with the HLX Kickoff Scrimmage before hosting the fifth annual Burrito Bowl scrimmage in coordination with Team Impact. On October 11, the team traveled down to Philadelphia, where it scrimmaged the preseason No. 1 Team in the nation, the University of Maryland. Now, the team will close out the Fall with the BBQ bowl before the upcoming finals and holiday break.
