CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After one of the most exciting seasons in program history, the Harvard University men's lacrosse team has finalized its 2026 schedule. The 13-game calendar features exciting matchups against a challenging slate of opponents that are set to take place all over the nation. An expected preseason top 20 team in the nation, Harvard lacrosse hopes to continue its recent run of success and return to the Ivy League and NCAA tournament fields this Spring.
The Crimson will officially open the 2026 season with a trio of games on its home turf at Jordan Field. Harvard will first welcome in Providence (Feb. 14) to open the season before hosting Colgate (Feb. 17) in the team's first midweek showdown. One of the most highly anticipated matchups of the Crimson's 2026 season will occur on Saturday, Feb. 21, when the Syracuse Orange make their way to Jordan Field to take on the Crimson in a rematch of the 2025 NCAA Tournament First Round contest. This will be the Orange's first appearance at Jordan Field in over 40 years.
Following the homestand, Harvard will hit the road for a pair of neutral site showdowns. First, the Crimson will make its way to Long Island, where it will play Marquette on Saturday, Feb. 28. Harvard will take on the Golden Eagles at Chaminade High School – the alma mater of the Frisbie Family Head Coach for Harvard Lacrosse,
Gerry Byrne - in the second ever meeting between the two squads. Next, Harvard will travel down to the Lone Star State to battle the University of Michigan Wolverines in Houston on Saturday, Mar. 7. The clash will be Harvard's first ever game played in the state of Texas and will take place at the KinKaid School in Houston.
Ivy League competition follows the neutral site battles for the Crimson. The first weekend of conference play will pit Harvard against Penn at Franklin Field in Philadelphia (Mar. 14). The following weekend, the Crimson will return to Jordan Field to take on Dartmouth (Mar. 20) in a Friday night tilt under the lights.
Harvard will then take a brief break from conference play to close out its non-league schedule during it's Ivy League bye week. First, Harvard will take on Boston University in the second annual Charles River Rivalry game (Mar. 24) at Nickerson Field across the city. Following the regional showdown, Harvard will travel South to Baltimore where it is set to take on the North Carolina Tar Heels in a neutral site clash at Archbishop Spalding on Sunday, Mar. 29.
The final four games of the Crimson's regular season include two contests against Brown (Apr. 4) and Princeton (Apr. 18) at Jordan Field. Harvard's final two road contests will see them battle at Yale (Apr. 11) and at Cornell (Apr. 25).
