CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 11 Harvard field hockey heads across town to play Boston University tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m. at New Balance Field. The Crimson is coming off a big 4-0 win at Princeton over the weekend. Looking to add to its five-game win streak, Harvard will play at BU for the first time since 2021. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
WHAT TO KNOW
- Harvard has won five games in a row and eight of its last nine games. The last time Harvard had won six consecutive games was in 2019.
- Emily Guckian added two more points on Saturday after a pair of assists and increased her point total to 25. Guckian is riding a nine-game point streak and has scored all 25 points over that span.
- Guckian currently sits in second place in points in the Ivy League with 25.
- Tessa Shahbo has pitched a shutout in her last three appearances. The sophomore hasn't allowed a goal in 150+ minutes heading into the game with the Terriers.
- Harvard clinched a spot in the Ivy League Tournament on Friday and will look towards a matchup with Cornell to see who will take the top spot in the inaugural tournament.
- The Crimson has won its last six games against the Terriers and will look to make it seven in a row on Tuesday evening.
