CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Annika Landis – an elite cross country ski racer who competed professionally with the Craftsbury Green Racing Project and at Middlebury College – has joined the Harvard University nordic skiing coaching staff as an assistant coach.
 
As a collegiate student-athlete, Landis competed for Middlebury College from 2016-20 achieving significant results at the national and regional levels. Her decorated racing career includes 21 career top-10 collegiate results, and five career collegiate podiums. A two-time NCAA Championships qualifier, she twice qualified for the U23 World Championships.
 
Upon graduation, Landis joined the Craftsbury Green Racing Project, a professional team based in Vermont. During the 2022-23 season, she placed ninth at the American Birkebeiner 52k - the largest ski race in the US - third at the Boulder Mountain Tour 32k, and third at the West Yellowstone Rendezvous 50k alongside a No. 14 overall national ranking. In the 2021-22 season, she finished 15th at the American Birkebeiner 52k, and tallied 12 top-15 SuperTour finishes.
 
Beyond cross country skiing, Landis is also an avid runner, competing in trail marathons during the off season. Alongside her competitive career, Landis has also served as a volunteer coach, working with masters and junior programs as well as the summer bike club program in Craftsbury, Vermont.
 
In addition to coaching, Landis will continue to race professionally this season with the Enjoy Winter Factory Team.
 
Landis earned a bachelor's degree in environmental studies and sociology with a minor in Spanish from Middlebury in 2020.
