CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's soccer is riding high after back-to-back convincing wins in Ivy League play. Next, the Crimson (7-3-1, 2-1-0 Ivy) will head to Central New York to battle the Cornell Big Red (3-2-5, 0-2-1 Ivy) and hopes to solidify its position in the Ivy League table with another positive result.
Harvard and Cornell will meet for the 42
nd time in their histories this weekend when the sides clash at 2:00 PM on Saturday (Oct. 7).
WHAT TO KNOW
- Harvard is coming off a dazzling 3-0 victory over Dartmouth on Wednesday.
- The Crimson is riding a five-game winning streak and a 28-match unbeaten streak against the Big Red.
- Harvard leads the all-time series, 29-3-9.
- Harvard is outscoring Cornell 29-5 in its last 10 matchups and 28-6 in its last ten matchups in Ithaca.
- Dartmouth dropped its first game of the season to the Crimson, who also scored a first-half goal on the Big Green for the first time this year.
- The Crimson also snapped the Columbia's 540-plus minute shutout streak in just seven minutes last Saturday (Sep. 30)
- Harvard notched its fifth shutout of the season against Dartmouth.

- Gabby DelPico and Ólöf Kristinsdóttir are also tied for second on the squad with 12 points each. Kristinsdóttir's five goals are a team high.
- August Hunter has been the anchor of the Crimson backline, logging a team-best 982 minutes played, missing just eight minutes this season.
- As a team the Crimson ranks no. 5 in the nation with 3.09 assists per game and 10 in total assists with 34. The totals are also the most in the Ivy League.
- The team's points per game total of 8.18 is good for no. 12 in the nation and no. 1 in the Ivy League.
- The Crimson also leads the league in corner kicks per game (6), scoring offense (2.55), and total points (90).
