KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The awards continue to roll in for Harvard women's soccer, as three of its players were named to United Soccer Coaches' All-East Region teams this week. Hasbo, a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann trophy, earned a spot on the first-team, while
Hannah Bebar and
Jade Rose both landed on the second-team. This is the second year in a row the Crimson has been represented by three student-athletes on the all-region teams. It is also the third-consecutive appointment on an All-Region team for Bebar and Rose and second for Hasbo.
A junior midfielder, Hasbo led the team with 26 points and 10 goals during her season. The Denmark natives adds the All-Region honor to her list of accolades this season that include First-Team All-Ivy League, MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, CSC Academic All-Region honors along with her Ivy League Tournament MVP award. Hasbo also earned the Top-Drawer Soccer National Player of the Week after netting a hat-trick in the Ivy League Tournament Championship against Columbia (Nov. 5).
Another Crimson junior midfielder,
Hannah Bebar, landed on the All-Region team for the third consecutive year. With 19 points on the season, Bebar ranked third on the Crimson, starting in all 19 games for the squad this season. The First-Team All-Ivy leaguer completed her time at Harvard with 59 career points to rank 11
th on the all-time list.
One of the most feared defenders in the nation,
Jade Rose was once again named to an All-Region squad for the third straight season. Rose continued her run of dominance in 2023, earning the Ivy League's Defensive Player of the year award for a second straight season while helping the defensive unit allow the third-fewest shots on goal in the country. A First-Team All-Ivy League selection, Rose racked up career-best six points on the offensive end in 2023 with a goal and four assists.
The Crimson recently wrapped up another remarkable season, completing its 2023 campaign with 13 wins – the most for the program since the 1999 season – and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year.
