KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the second consecutive season, two members of the Harvard women's soccer team have been named All-America by the United Soccer Coaches. Josefine Hasbo and Jade Rose continue to rack up the awards this postseason after landing on the First Team and Third Team, respectively. This is only the sixth time in Harvard women's soccer program history – and the second year in a row - that two athletes have received All-America honors.
 
A Denmark native, Hasbo now adds All-American to her list of titles that includes United Soccer Coaches All-Region, First-Team All-Ivy, MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, CSC Academic All-District and Ivy League Tournament MVP.
 
One of the most feared defenders in the nation, Jade Rose earned an All-America distinction for the second straight season. Rose landed on the third team this season after collecting second team honors a year ago. The Candia continued her run of dominance in 2023, earning the Ivy League's Defensive Player of the year award for a second straight season while helping the defensive unit allow the third-fewest shots on goal in the country. A First-Team All-Ivy League selection, Rose racked up career-best six points on the offensive end in 2023 with a goal and four assists.
 
Rose was one of only nine players in the country to earn back-to-back All-America honors and becomes only the seventh two-time All-American in Harvard women's soccer history.
 
This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
