MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving team wrapped up day-three competition at the Minnesota Invitational on Thursday at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. Several season-bests and a new school record were established along with NCAA B-cuts.

What to Know

• The Crimson opened the day with the prelims of the 100 butterfly and had Sydney Lu produce its fastest time (53.02) to secure a spot in the A-final.
• Next up was the prelims of the 400 individual medley and Harvard had a pair of first-years punch their ticket to the A-final. Alexandra Bastone came in fifth place with a time of 4:17.35, and finished just ahead of Stephanie Iannaccone, who posted the seventh-fastest performance (4:19.22) in the field.
• Bastone continued to churn out A-final-worthy performances, this time securing a spot in the 200 free with her prelim mark of 1:48.84, which was seventh in the field. Piper Wood Prince (1:50.27) and Molly Hamlin (1:51.38) moved on to the B-final after recording the 11^th- and 15^th-best performances.
• Harvard had two athletes make the B-final of the 100 breaststroke after Victoria Eisenhauer (1:02.84) and Iannaccone (1:03.04) finished in 13^th and 15^th place, respectively.
• In the final prelim of the day – the 100 backstroke – Anya Mostek narrowly missed taking the top spot, finishing in second with a time of 52.71. Abby Carr secured a spot in the A-final with her 54.41, which was good for eighth.
• When the finals commenced, Lu started things off by finishing seventh in the championship of the 100 fly. The sophomore posted her top time of the season (52.88) and hit the NCAA B-standard. Carr (54.81), Bullock (54.89), Alas (55.19) and Wieclawek (56.31), meanwhile, finished third, fourth, seventh and eighth, respectively, in the C-final.
• Bastone and Iannaccone placed 5th-6th in the A-final of the 400 IM. Bastone recorded a season-best time of 4:15.91, which was an NCAA B-standard performance. Iannaccone narrowly missed a B-cut time, checking in at 4:17.36. Grace Yoon (4:25.49) and Kate Hazlett (4:25.50) finished in third and fourth place in the B-final.
• Bastone took the blocks again in the 200 free and posted the eight-fastest time in the A-final (1:55.04). Hamlin and Wood Prince came in third and fourth in the B-final after posting times of 1:49.31 and 1:49.55, respectively.
• Iannaccone set a season-best in the 100 breast with her 1:02.44 performance, which was good for fourth place in the B-final. Eisenhauer finished two spots back after her season-best 1:02.70 performance.
• Mostek posted a school record and an NCAA B-standard effort in the A-final of the 100 back. The sophomore came in third place with a time of 52.28. Teammate Abby Carr finished in seventh place (55.56). Bullock, meanwhile, finished the B-final in 55.72 (8^th). Mostek held the old standard of 52.77, which she accomplished in 2023.
• In the three-meter diving competition, Amy Wotovich finished in third place, recording a score of 290.60. Rounding out the top five was Remi Edvalson and her 279.10 score.
• The 400 medley relay was the final event of the night and Harvard's A-group (Mostek, Aleksandra Denisenko, Lu and Alas finished in seventh place (season-best 3:38.90).
