Men’s Basketball’s Ledlum, Sakota, Tretout Earn Academic All-District Accolades

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's basketball senior guards Chris Ledlum, Luka Sakota, and Idan Tretout have all earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, CSC announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Ledlum – also a 2021-22 Academic All-District and All-America selection – ranks second in the Ivy League in points per game (19.0) and second in rebounds per game (8.4). He has posted seven double-doubles on the season, while scoring in double figures in 24 of 26 games this year. Ledlum has netted 20 or more points 11 times and notched 30 points or more points twice in 2022-23.
 
Sakota has scored in double figures nine times this year and has played in 25 of 26 games this season. He has shot 81.3 percent from the free throw line in Ivy League play on the season and has hit three or more 3-pointers four times on the year.
 
Tretout has scored in double figures 12 times, including in nine of 12 Ivy League games. He ranks second on the team in Ivy League play in points per game (13.3) and assists per game (2.4). Tretout has shot 38.8 percent from 3-point distance in Ivy play and has started 11 of 12 Ivy League games.
 
All three student-athletes also garnered a spot on the NABC Honors Court in 2021-22.
 
The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second, and third team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in March.
 
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.
