Albuquerque, N.M. - Four Harvard Track and Field athletes competed at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship meet on Saturday, March 11 in Albuquerque, N.M.
Maia Ramsden earned First Team All-American status in two events while
Graham Blanks and
Alexander Kolesnikoff earned second team honors.
Harvard Results
• Ramsden, the fastest Crimson women's runner to ever run an indoor mile, started her night in the final of the women's mile run, where she placed fifth in the nation with a time of 4:36.54. Her fifth place finish earned her a spot on the podium and first-team status.
• The school record holder in the 3000m run as well, Ramsden was back on the podium with her second race only an hour after her first, placing eighth in the 3000m run with a time of 9:16.99.
• Kolesnikoff ended his indoor 2023 season with a 12th place finish in the nation in the men's shot put, throwing 19.46m (63' 10.25") to earn second team All-America honors.
• Blanks, a late addition to the 3000m run after a scratch in the week leading up to the championship, made up places from his initial ranking of 16th in the race to finish 13th at the championship meet with a time of 8:10.11.
