CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's basketball senior guard/forward
Chris Ledlum has earned USBWA District I All-District Team honors, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association announced on Tuesday afternoon based on voting from its national membership.
A First Team NABC All-District selection and a unanimous First Team All-Ivy pick this past season, Ledlum ranked second in the Ivy League in points per game (18.8) and first in rebounds per game (8.4). For the season, he scored in double figures in 26 of 28 games, eclipsed 20 points 11 times, and netted 30 or more points twice. He posted eight double-doubles on the season. Ledlum finished the season with 527 points, ranking fifth on Harvard's single-season points list.
A sociology concentrator, Ledlum also distinguished himself in the classroom during his career, gaining Academic All-America and Academic All-District honors this winter after collecting Academic All-America, Academic All-District, and NABC Honors Court accolades in 2021-22.
In 2022-23 Harvard posted a record of .500 or better for the 13
th time in the last 14 competitive seasons.
For each of the nine geographic districts, 10 players are selected as well as a player and coach of the year. District I includes the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
