CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University baseball takes on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a four-game series from Mar. 16-18 at Chapman Field in Corpus Christi, Texas, as the Crimson closes a spring break trip that includes eight games over nine days in two states.

- The Crimson (1-11) meets the Islanders (8-9) in game one on Thursday, Mar. 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET (7:00 p.m. CT), in game two on Friday, Mar. 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET (7:00 p.m. CT), and in a doubleheader on Saturday, Mar. 18 beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET (noon CT).
- Harvard's weekend rotation is set to feature RHP Callan Fang (0-1, 5.14 ERA) in game one, RHP Jay Driver (0-1, 6.75 ERA) in game two, RHP Chris Clark (0-1, 6.92 ERA) in game three, and RHP Sean Matson (0-2, 11.25 ERA) in game four.
- The Islanders are set to counter with RHP Hayden Thomas (2-2, 7.41 ERA) in game one, LHP Zach Garcia (1-2, 9.53 ERA) in game two, RHP Matthew Watson (1-1, 5.95 ERA) in game three, and RHP Colin Purcell (2-0, 3.12 ERA) in game four.

Messervy and Cooper lead the Ivy League with seven doubles apiece. Harvard has hit at least two doubles in 11 of 12 games this year and knocked a season-high six in game two vs. FIU.

- Sophomore George Cooper leads the Crimson with a .367 batting average, while ranking first in the Ivy League in doubles (seven), third in hits (18), and eighth in runs (10). He tallied a season-high four hits in game two at FIU (Mar. 4).
- Junior Ben Rounds has posted a .326 batting average, 14 hits, three doubles, two home runs, and 10 RBIs. He stands eighth in the Ancient Eight with 10 RBIs. Rounds notched a season-best four hits in game three at FAU (Mar. 12).
- Senior Will Jacobsen has hit .320 on the year with eight hits, three doubles, and 10 RBIs. He sits eighth in the league in RBIs (10) and 10th in slugging percentage (.560).
- Senior Hunter Baldwin has registered a .300 batting average with 11 runs, 12 hits, four doubles, and five RBIs. He ranks seventh in the Ivies in runs (11).
- Junior right-handed pitcher Chris Clark ranks 14th in the NCAA in strikeouts per nine innings (15.23) and leads the Ivy League in strikeouts (22).
- The Crimson hit seven home runs in its series with FIU, including three homers in game two and four homers in game four. Senior Will Jacobsen and junior Chris Snopek each hit a grand slam in game two against the Panthers. First-year Jordan Kang hit his first two collegiate home runs in the game four matchup.
- Harvard captured two Ivy League weekly awards on Feb. 27 as junior right-handed pitcher Chris Clark earned Ivy League Pitcher of the Week, and junior catcher William Lybrook gained Ivy League Rookie of the Week. Clark threw 6.0 innings, allowing just two unearned runs on two hits and two walks, while totaling 10 strikeouts to help Harvard beat Pittsburgh, 8-4. Lybrook tallied a .444 batting average (4-for-9), a home run, a double, three RBIs, two runs scored, and a .899 slugging percentage as he made his collegiate debut.
- The Crimson earned an 8-4 win over Pittsburgh on Feb. 25, marking the program's second straight season with a victory over a team from the ACC in its season-opening series. In 2022, Harvard claimed a win over Miami in its season opener.
- The Crimson is set to make three visits to the state of Florida and one visit to the state of Texas over the first four weekends of the season. Harvard is set to log approximately 9,135 flight miles over the course of the four trips.
- Harvard was selected to finish fourth in the 2023 Ivy League Baseball Preseason Media Poll. The Crimson totaled 75 points to land in the top half of the eight-team poll. Columbia took the top spot with 124 points and 12 first-place votes. Penn (113 points, three first-place votes) and Dartmouth (91 points, one first-place vote) claimed the second and third spots. Yale (68 points), Brown (45), Princeton (31), and Cornell (29) rounded out the fifth through eighth spots in the poll.
