CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Volleyball made quick work of American International, winning in three sets, 25-15, 25-11, 25-16, Friday night at Malkin Athletic Center. The Crimson improved to 7-11 on the season, following its fourth sweep of the campaign.

How It Happened

  • In the first set, Harvard turned a 7-5 lead into an 11-5 advantage within minutes. The Yellowjackets (2-18) narrowed its deficit to 14-10, but the Crimson thwarted the threat and pushed its lead to 18-11. The hosts eventually scored the final four points of the frame to take the first, 25-15.
  • Harvard continued momentum in the second set and jumped out to a 4-1 lead. The Crimson did not let up as play continued, extending its advantage to 12-3 and then 20-8. Harvard took a commanding two-sets-to-none lead after securing the 25-11 victory.
  • In the third set, Harvard left no doubt, taking a 6-2 lead and never letting up. The Crimson later led, 11-5, 15-7 and 19-10 before settling for the 25-16 decision to clinch the match.
