MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Harvard men's swimming and diving first-year
Denny Gulia-Janovski advanced to the finals of the platform diving competition and finished in eighth place at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Wednesday.
The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native posted a 6-dive score of 291.25 in the preliminary rounds to finish in ninth place and secure a spot in the championship portion of the event. Gulia-Janovski ultimately moved up one spot to eighth in the finals, finishing with a score of 616.25.
The platform competition marked the final event of the three-day meet in West Virginia. Gulia-Janovski's teammate,
Adam Wesson, qualified for the NCAA Championships on the 1- and 3-meter boards during the first two days at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park.
