Harvard completed the Spring semester with a team cumulative grade-point average of 3.75, which was tied for the second-best performance in Division I. To be eligible for this honor, teams were required to achieve a GPA of 3.00 or higher during the term.
Individually,
Evan Croley,
Marre Gattnar,
David Greeley,
David Schmitt and
Sonny Wang earned spots on the CSCAA Scholar All-America First Team, while teammates
Adriano Arioti,
Joshua Chen,
Aayush Deshpande,
Jack Holland,
Richard Poplawski III,
Anthony Rincon,
Will Sullivan and
Shane Washart collected second-team recognition.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated at their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
This past season, Harvard found itself nationally ranked three times and had three of its relays (200 free, 400 free, 800 free) earn NCAA Championship berths, with Schmitt qualifying for the 200 fly and receiving invitations to swim in the 100 fly and 100 back events. Looking ahead to 2025-26, the Crimson appears to be set to compete with some of the best in Division I, as it is scheduled to return all of its NCAA participants (Schmitt, Wang, Gattnar, Greeley, Croley) along with a talented group of letterwinners.
