CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The men's heavyweight rowing team will travel to Princeton to compete in the 85th Compton Cup on Saturday, April 15. The first race will begin at 9 a.m. EST and be live streamed on ESPN+. 

What to Know

• This will be the 85th Compton Cup with Harvard, Princeton, and MIT. Harvard leads the series 66 -16 -1, with Princeton in second and MIT in third respectively.
• With the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Crimson has won the Cup title four years in a row. 
• The Crimson are currently 2-0 for the Spring season after winning both the Robinson Cup against Cornell, and the Stein Cup against Brown. 
• In this weeks IRCA/IRA poll, the Harvard Varsity 8+ is ranked sixth out of 25. After defeating Brown who was higher ranked going into the Stein Cup, Harvard moved up two spots from eighth place to sixth this week. 
• The Crimson look to keep the winning streak going and claim the Compton Cup title for the fifth year in a row.
