Cambridge, Mass. - The Harvard softball team (22-12-1, 12-3 Ivy) will head to Princeton, N.J. to face the Tigers (19-15, 12-3 Ivy) in a highly-anticipated matchup as both teams are currently tied for first in the Ivy League standings. The first of three games will take place on Friday at 2 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday with games at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. All games will air on ESPN+.

• Harvard and Princeton sit tied for first in the Ivy League, both with 12-3 records. The Crimson's 12 wins come from three series sweeps over Penn, Brown and most recently, Yale. Princeton has swept the Bulldogs and the Columbia Lions.
• The Crimson had an excellent weekend at home, beating the Bulldogs in two walk-off wins to start the series with scores of 3-2 and 5-4 and finishing it off as first-year
Riley Flynn pitched a seven-inning no-hitter to lead the Crimson to a 5-0 victory.
• Flynn earned her third Ivy League Rookie of the Week distinction for her performance, as she went the distance for Harvard, walking one and striking out four in the shutout. She faced 23 Yale hitters in the game, allowing four ground balls and 13 fly balls.
• On Tuesday, Harvard never trailed in a 6-5 victory over the Providence Friars. The Crimson got on the board immediately, starting their scoring with two runs in the bottom of the first inning, highlighted be a two-run double off the bat of

• In the all-time series, Harvard trails Princeton 35-42. Throughout the 2022 season, Harvard trailed 2-4 to the Tigers with three regular season games and three Ivy League tournament games. In both three-game series, the Crimson won the first game but fell to the Tigers in the second two.
• With one win this weekend, the Crimson will clinch a spot in the Ivy League Tournament. With three wins over Princeton, the Crimson will clinch one of the top two seeds in the tournament, with a strong chance of serving as the host school as the top seed.
