Women's Water Closes Home Schedule With Princeton This Weekend

CAMBRIDGE, MASS.. – No. 14 Harvard women's water polo hosts No. 7 Princeton in a big conference matchup this Saturday at Blodgett Pool. The contest will be the last home game of the season for the Crimson. The rematch with the Tigers will start at 10:00 a.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.   

What to Know

  • Zoe Banks was named to Cutino Award Watch List earlier in the week for her exceptional play this season. Banks was named as one of the top twenty collegiate water polo players in the country with her placement on the watch list. 
  • The Crimson looks to close out the 2023 home schedule on a high note as the program seeks its 12th win at home. 
  • Harvard fell to Princeton earlier in the year 11- 4 at DeNunzio Pool. 
  • The Crimson will finish the season with four conference road games following the matchup with Princeton. 
  • The program is looking for its 20th win of the season this weekend. 
  • Brooke Hourigan was named COOP Student-Athlete of the Week after tallying five goals, two assists, and four steals over the weekend. 

Next Up 

The Crimson will head to Michigan for the final conference weekend of the season on April 15-16. The Crimson will open the weekend with Bucknell and Saint Francis on Saturday before finishing the trip to Ann Arbor with host Michigan on Sunday. All three games will be streamed on BIG+.
