FAIRFAX, Va. - The Crimson women's track and field team sent athletes to represent Harvard and compete at the IC4A/ECAC Championships in Fairfax, Virginia hosted by George Mason University on Sunday. This was the last weekend of competition for the Harvard team before the NCAA qualifying meet.
Harvard Highlights
• In a similar fashion to the Ivy League Outdoor Championship meet,
Tina Martin and
Adaji Osaro-Igwe finished neck in neck in the 200m dash, with Martin taking fourth in 23.57 and Osaro-Igwe taking fifth in 23.58.
• After a great race in the prelimary round of the 100m hurdles yesterday,
Josefina Biernacki finished fourth in 14.41 seconds in the final.

Jacklynn Okereke took fifth place in the 400m hurdles in 1:02.36.
• Martin and Osaro-Igwe currently have NCAA East prelimary qualifying times in the 200m dash.

Athletes who are currently ranked in the top 48 in the NCAA East region or relay teams who are ranked in the top 24 in each event will compete at the NCAA East Prelimary round with hopes of earning a spot at the NCAA Championship meet in Austin, Texas.
