CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's soccer will host nine games and look to compete in the inaugural Ivy League Tournament as a part of its schedule for the 2023 season, which begins on Sept. 1,

Highlights from the Crimson's 2023 schedule include nine home games, including five home matches in the month of September, the team's season and home opener vs. Rhode Island on Sept. 1, and the program's Ivy opener at home vs. Cornell on Sept. 23. For the first time, the Ivy League will conduct a four-team tournament, taking place on Nov. 10 and 12, to select the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.
Beginning the 2023 campaign, Harvard hosts Rhode Island in its season and home opener on Friday, Sept. 1 at 1:00 p.m. prior to playing at Marquette on Sept. 4.
The Crimson returns home for three straight home matches, hosting 2022 NCAA tournament participant Seton Hall (Sept. 9), Northeastern (Sept. 12), and 2022 NCAA quarterfinalist Vermont (Sept. 16).
Following a road match at Fairfield (Sept. 19), Harvard opens Ivy League play with a home match against another 2022 NCAA tournament team in Cornell (Sept. 23).
Harvard faces yet another NCAA tournament team from last season in a road match at New Hampshire (Sept. 26) before returning to Ivy play with a road contest at Columbia (Sept. 30).
The Crimson opens the month of October with three consecutive home matches, taking on Brown (Oct, 7), Boston University (Oct. 10), and Yale (Oct. 14). Harvard plays at Holy Cross (Oct. 17) in its non-league finale.
Down the stretch run of the regular season, Harvard will play at Penn (Oct. 21) – another 2022 NCAA team – host Princeton (Oct. 28), and close the regular season at Dartmouth (Nov. 4).
The 2023 Ivy League Tournament is set to take place on Friday, Nov. 10 and Sunday, Nov. 12 at the site of the tournament's No. 1 seed.
Harvard closed the 2022 season unbeaten in its last eight games (5-0-3) and undefeated in its last six Ivy League contests (3-0-3). The Crimson claimed third place in the Ivy League standings with 12 points, marking its highest finish in the conference table since 2015. Harvard concluded the season with a 7-1-1 record at home.
