Cambridge, Mass. - The Harvard track and field teams announced the 2023-24 Indoor Track and Field schedule on Thursday. The teams will compete in 14 meets throughout the season, hosting three at home, including the Ivy League Championships, at the Gordon Indoor Track.
The season will start on Dec. 2 at home with the HBCU and Ivy Challenge as the Crimson host competitors from the Ivy League and multiple historically black colleges and universities. Harvard will end 2023 at the Northeastern Invite on Dec. 9 at the New Balance Indoor Track.
Competition will pick back up on Jan. 14, 2024 with the UMass Flagship Invitational, once again at the New Balance Indoor Track. The team will then head to Boston University for the Battle in Beantown on Jan. 20. The annual HYP meet will take place on Jan. 27, with a location yet to be determined.
Harvard returns home to host the Crimson Elite on Feb. 2 and then returns to Boston University on Feb. 3 for the Scarlet and White Invite. Three meets will be held from Feb. 9-10, with the Clemson Tiger Paw Invitational (Clemson, S.C.), the Valentine Invitational (Boston, Mass.) and the BC Invitational (Boston, Mass.). The regular season will close out with the Alex Wilson Invite hosted by Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. on Feb. 17.
The Ivy League Championship meet will kick off postseason competition, as reigning women's team champion Harvard plays host to the other seven teams. Student-athletes will then compete at the IC4A/ECAC Championship meet at the New Balance Indoor Track. The season will conclude with the NCAA Indoor Championships on familiar ground, once again at the New Balance Indoor Track.
