CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's soccer senior Willem Ebbinge and junior Alessandro Arlotti have both earned spots on Top Drawer Soccer's Preseason Men's National Top 100, in the organization's annual preseason rankings.
Ebbinge checks in as the No. 58 player in the nation while Arlotti features as the No. 73 player in the country according to TDS.
Arlotti earned First Team All-Ivy honors in 2022 while gaining College Sports Communicators Academic All-District as well as capturing Ivy League Player of the Week on Oct. 31. He ranked 28th in the NCAA in assists per game (0.47), 28th in total assists (seven), 29th in shots on goal per game (1.41). As a first-year, Arlotti earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors. He gained First Team All-Ivy accolades and garnered Ivy League Rookie of the Week twice (Sept. 27, Nov. 15) while ranking third in the NCAA in game-winning goals (six).
Ebbinge gained First Team All-Ivy honors, earned Second Team All-ECAC accolades, and captured College Sports Communicators Academic All-District laurels in 2022. He ranked third in the NCAA in assists per game (0.69) and seventh in total assists (12) while standing first in the Ivy League in assists and fourth in points (18). In 2021, Ebbinge earned First Team All-Ivy honors, ranked fourth in the NCAA in assists per game (0.67), and stood first in the Ivy League in assists (10).
The Crimson kicks off its 2023 season with a home matchup against Rhode Island on Friday, Sept. 1 at 1:00 p.m. (ESPN+) at Jordan Field.
