CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University men's basketball will host 14 regular season home games and play at perennial Big Ten power Indiana as a part of its schedule for the 2023-24 season, which begins on Nov. 6,

Highlights from the Crimson's non-conference schedule include the season and home opener against UMass Boston on Nov. 6, trips to the cities of Houston (at Rice on Nov. 10), Indianapolis (at Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Nov. 26), and Chicago (at Loyola Chicago on Dec. 2), and a week of contests against Bay State rivals – vs. Northeastern (Nov. 14), at Massachusetts (Nov. 17), and at Boston College (Nov. 18).
The Crimson will close the regular season with 14 straight Ivy League games from Jan. 6 to Mar. 9, including a span of seven home games in 10 contests from Jan. 15 to Feb. 24.
Harvard opens its 2023-24 season with a home contest at Lavietes Pavilion on Monday, Nov. 6 against UMass Boston with a 7:00 p.m. tip-off. The Crimson then travels to play at Rice (Nov. 10) in its first road matchup of the year.
The program commences a week of action against Bay State opponents when it hosts Northeastern (Nov. 14) prior to playing at Massachusetts (Nov. 17) and at Boston College (Nov. 18) in a back-to-back weekend that will mirror several conference weekends later in the season.
In its final contest before Thanksgiving, the Crimson plays at Colgate (Nov. 22) – a team that has appeared in the last three NCAA tournaments (2021, 2022, 2023).
Harvard then plays at Indiana (Nov. 26) in a contest that the Hoosiers will host at Gainbridge Fieldhouse – the home of the NBA's Indiana Pacers. The Hoosiers have made 41 all-time appearances in the NCAA tournament while Harvard and Indiana will meet for the second time in series history as the two teams first met in the 1972-73 season.
In its final three games prior to the finals break, Harvard will host American (Nov. 29), make a trip to Chicago to play at Loyola Chicago (Dec. 2), and then host Army West Point (Dec. 8).
The Crimson closes non-league play with a trio of home games, hosting Holy Cross (Dec. 21), Iona (Dec. 30), and Albany (Jan. 2).
Ivy League play commences for the Crimson when it plays at Princeton (Jan. 6) prior to its Ivy League home opener against Brown (Jan. 15) on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Following a road contest at Penn (Jan. 20), Harvard hosts four consecutive games at Lavietes Pavilion with matchups against Yale (Jan. 27), Columbia (Feb. 2), Cornell (Feb. 3), and Dartmouth (Feb. 10). The four-game homestand opens a stretch of six home games over eight contests for the Crimson from Jan. 27 to Feb. 24.
Starting the second half of Ivy play, the Crimson plays a back-to-back weekend at Cornell (Feb. 16) and at Columbia (Feb. 17) prior to hosting its final two home games of the regular season with consecutive contests against Princeton (Feb. 23) and Penn (Feb. 24).
Harvard closes the regular season with three consecutive road games, playing at Brown (Mar. 1), at Yale (Mar. 2), and at Dartmouth (Mar. 9).
The 2024 Ivy League Basketball Tournaments are set to take place from March 15-17 at Columbia's Levien Gymnasium in New York City.
