Men's Hockey Storms Back to Beat U.S. NTDP

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Justin Solovey netted the game-winner late in the third period as the Crimson staged a four goal comeback in the third to defeat the U.S. NTDP. Down 3-1 heading into the final frame, goals from Mick Thompson, Cam Johnson, Kyle Aucoin, and Justin Solovey lifted the Crimson to a 5-4 win over the United States development program. 
 
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS 
  • Alex Gaffney scored on a breakaway to open the scoring and to net the first goal of the season for the Crimson. 
  • The U.S. NTDP scored the next three goals, including one short-handed. 
  • Mick Thompson opened the third with a goal on a partial breakaway.
  • Cam Johnson converted on a one-timer shortly after to tie the game. 
  • Another blast from the point, Kyle Aucoin took the lead for the Crimson. 
  • After the U.S. NTDP tied it, Justin Solovey was camped out in front and netted the game-winner.
