CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Basketball hosts the University of Massachusetts on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 4:00 p.m. (NESN/ESPN+) at a sold out Lavietes Pavilion with the Crimson coming off a 78-67 victory over Colgate in its last outing.

- Playing at home for the first time since the season opener on Nov. 4, first-year guard Robert Hinton tallied a game-high 18 points and career-best nine rebounds, sophomore forward Thomas Batties II scored 17 points, and junior guard Chandler Piggé posted 16 points and a game-high nine rebounds as Harvard beat Colgate (Nov. 22), 78-67, at Lavietes Pavilion.
- First-year guard Robert Hinton earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the second time in the season's first three weeks after helping lead the Crimson to a 78-67 win over Colgate. He tallied a game-high 18 points, career and game-best nine rebounds, career and game-high five assists, and two steals, while shooting 8-of-13 from the field. Hinton connected on eight or more field goals for the third time on the season.
- First-year guard Robert Hinton has averaged 17.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game to open the year, while shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from 3-point distance. In the NCAA, Hinton ranks fifth among first-years in points per game (17.7). In the Ivy League, he stands fourth in points per game (17.7), fifth in field goals made (40), and sixth in free throws made (21). He made an immediate impact in his debut, scoring 27 points on 9-of-12 field goals and 8-of-10 free throws vs. Marist (Nov. 4). He then dropped 26 points and eight boards at Navy (Nov. 8) before netting 19 points at American (Nov. 10). Hinton totaled 18 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in the win over Colgate (Nov. 22).
- Junior guard Chandler Piggé has notched 13.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game on the year, while shooting 53.4 percent from the field. He has steadily increased his production over his career after averaging 1.9 points per game in 2022-23 and 8.1 points per game in 2023-24. Piggé ranks fourth in the Ivy League in rebounds per game (7.5), fifth in steals per game (1.3), 10th in field goal percentage (53.4), and 12th in points per game (13.2). He has scored in double figures in five straight games (Nov. 8-22). He notched 16 points and nine rebounds vs. Colgate (Nov. 22) after scoring 17 points with six rebounds at Northeastern (Nov. 13). Piggé registered 16 points and eight rebounds at Navy (Nov. 8) before notching 11 points and nine rebounds at American (Nov. 10). He posted 8.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game last winter, while shooting 81.8 percent on free throws.
- Sophomore forward Thomas Batties II has averaged 9.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game on the year, while shooting 40.0 percent from 3-point distance. He ranks second in the Ivy League and 39th in the NCAA in blocks per game (2.0). He matched his career high with 17 points vs. Colgate (Nov. 22). Batties II scored a career-high 17 points and posted career highs in 3-pointers made (five) and blocks (four) at Navy (Nov. 8). He registered 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on the 2023-24 season.
- Senior guard Evan Nelson has contributed 8.0 points and 1.8 assists per game on the year, while shooting 39.1 percent from 3-point distance. He netted 15 points at American (Nov. 10) before scoring 11 points at Colorado (Nov. 17). Nelson returned for the Crimson after missing the 2023-24 season due to injury. As a sophomore in 2022-23, he averaged 8.4 points, 3.4 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 38.8 percent from 3-point distance.
- First-year guard Tey Barbour has notched 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game on the year. Barbour netted 11 points and hit 3-of-6 3-pointers vs. Colgate (Nov. 22). He scored 10 points at Colorado (Nov. 17) for his first collegiate game in double figures.
- First-year guard Dutch Dowdell has netted 4.8 points per game on the year and has scored 10 points in each of two games – at Northeastern (Nov. 13) and at Colorado (Nov. 17).
- First-year guard Ben Eisendrath has dished out 2.2 assists per game. He distributed a career-high five assists at Northeastern (Nov. 13).
- Sophomore forward Luca Ace-Nasteski has chipped in 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game on the year. He netted nine points on 4-of-6 shooting against Marist (Nov. 4). He compiled 2.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game a season ago.
- Senior guard Louis Lesmond made his season debut vs. Colgate (Nov. 22), contributing five points, four rebounds, and four assists. He averaged 9.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game last season, while shooting 37.9 percent from 3-point distance. He ranked fourth in the Ivy League in total 3-pointers made (64) and fifth in 3-pointers per game (2.4). Lesmond made three or more 3-pointers in each of 13 games on the year and scored in double figures 15 times.
- Harvard trails UMass in the all-time series, 12-18. The Crimson won three straight against the Minutemen from 2017-18 to 2019-20 before UMass captured the next two meetings, including a narrow 71-68 decision at Lavietes Pavilion in 2022-23. Last season, Harvard pulled out a 78-75 victory in overtime.
