CHAPEL HILL, NC – Benjamin Privara and Rohan Murali opened competition at the ITA Division I Sectional Championships this afternoon, falling in a trio of battles. 

In singles play, either Crimson athlete fought to tiebreakers in their opening sets before narrowly falling.  Unfortunately, each opponent was then able to solidify second set victories to close the opening round matches.

In doubles, the Crimson pair faced Patrick Schoen and Logan Zapp (UNC).  The duo from the host school, UNC, was able to top the Harvard pairing, 6-4, 6-0 in the round of 16. 

Murali will return to action tomorrow in the singles consolation draw, as he scheduled to face Luciano Tacchi at 12:30 p.m. ET.
