CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis will return to action from home against Boston University and Army to open up March action. The Crimson will first welcome the crosstown foe on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. followed by Army on Sunday, March 3 at 12:00 p.m.
What to Know
- The Crimson are currently riding its best 10-match start in more than 20 years, beginning the year, 8-2. Harvard will look to extend its current four-match winning streak.
- In the most recent ITA Women's Division I Team Rankings, the Crimson checked in at No. 49.
- In the last time out, the Crimson posted back-to-back victories over Furman and Liberty, winning 4-3 and 4-0, respectively.
- Throughout nearly the entirety of the 2023-24 season, Kate Kim has led the team in singles victories. The first-year is a dominant 18-4 overall and 8-1 in dual competition.
- Stephanie Yakoff has consistently provided strong performances in singles and doubles action standing with 13-4 and 17-6 records, respectively.
- Kavya Karra joins Yakoff as the only other Crimson player to have double digit doubles victories as Karra stands at an impressive 11-3 throughout 2023-24. The first-year has also added nine wins throughout the fall and spring.
- Maxi Duncan has had a strong start to her dual season, sitting at 6-2 to improve to 10-5 overall for the year.
