CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Crimson wrapped a great weekend on the track and in the field, as Harvard track & field competed at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla. and the Riverhawk Invite in Lowell, Mass on Saturday.
FLORIDA RELAYS HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS:
- In the men's shot put, first-year Isaac Delaney earned a spot in the top-10, logging a eighth place finish with a throw of 16.00m (52'6").
- Fellow classmate Milina Wepiwé continues to show incredible potential in the women's discus, earning her third consecutive win on the season with a personal-best throw of 54.13m (177'7"). A native of Friedrichsdorf, Germany, Wepiwé ranks third on the program all-time performance list.
- A qualifier at last season's NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships and a second team All-American in the indoor triple jump this year, junior Daniel Falode finished in sixth place in the triple jump at the Florida Relays. Falode set a new outdoor personal-best in the event in Gainesville with a jump of 15.64m (51'3.75").
- On the track, the men's 4x100m team of first-year Timi Esan, senior Lance Ward, sophomore Jonas Clarke, and senior Collin Fullen combined for a sixth place finish and time of 40.32.
- Junior Victoria Bossong followed her tremendous showing at the Hurricane Invitational last weekend with another amazing outing. The Cumberland Foreside, Me. native won the women's 800m at the Florida Relays, setting a new personal-best time of 2:00.92. That is the fastest time in the nation this season and ranks second in school history.
- In the women's 400m, first-year Sophia Gorriaran ran her best time of the year, posting a 54.87 on her way to 19th place.
- Clarke took 11th place in a competitive men's 100m dash field, finishing the sprint in 10.43. Esan captured 13th place, recording a time of 10.45.
- The Crimson took second and fifth in the men's 4x400m finals, as the team that finished second posted a time of 3:08.28.
- Harvard also featured in the Tom Jones women's 4x400m, finishing in seventh with a time of 3:33.48.

RIVERHAWK INVITE HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS:
- Back in Massachusetts, senior Sameer Das stood atop the podium in the men's 1500m, winning the event with a personal-best time of 4:00.28.
- In the men's triple jump, senior Noah Miles earned third place honors after leaping to 13.39m (43'11.25").
- Junior Katie Haag recorded a second place finish in the women's 800m with a time of 2:26.35.
- In the women's1,500m, junior Cristina DeMeo set a new personal-record in the event (4:53.98) on her way to eighth.
- Senior Jackie George locked up third place in the women's pole vault after clearing the bar at 3.00m (9'10").
