NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Select Harvard track & field student-athletes traveled south on Saturday night, competing at the Yale Elite Last Chance Meet.

HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS:

• After taking third place in the women's discus throw at last weekend's Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Track & Field Championships, sophomore Michaela Denson finished in first in New Haven, setting a new personal-best of 49.37m (161'11") to win the event.
• Sophomore Penelope Salmon picked up another win for the Crimson in the women's 1,500m, crossing the finish line in 4:21.23. Junior Marianne Mihas joined Salmon in the top-five, posting a time of 4:25.58.
• In the women's 3,000m steeplechase, junior Isabelle Goldstein navigated to a third place finish with a time of 10:49.08.
• After helping break the program men's 4x800m relay time yesterday, junior Noah Ward took fourth place in the men's 1,500m with a time of 3:45.77.
• Senior Acer Iverson ended the night on a high note, standing atop the podium in the men's 5,000m, running the race in 13:48.64.

Harvard will travel to Fairfax, Va. tomorrow for the 2024 IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships.
